How much do Tesla diagnostics cost?

We offer four options: basic (fault code reading, general check) - 300 PLN, pre-purchase (with report and battery diagnostics) - from 650 PLN, before the warranty expires - from 650 PLN, comprehensive (all systems, battery analysis and a road test) - 700 PLN. Comprehensive diagnostics are free if we do the repair on the day of diagnostics.

How long do Tesla diagnostics take?

What is in the diagnostics report?

Do you use Toolbox 3 or a regular OBD scanner?

We connect the car to Tesla Toolbox 3 and read fault codes from all control units (ECU). We check the high-voltage system, the BMS (cell balancing, voltage and temperature sensors), the drivetrain (inverters, motors, gearboxes) and the cooling system.

Is it worth having a used Tesla diagnosed before buying it?

How do diagnostics before the warranty expires differ from pre-purchase diagnostics?

Diagnostics before the warranty expires are for Tesla owners: we look for faults worth reporting to Tesla while the car is still under warranty - e.g. knocks in the suspension and control arms, drivetrain noise, how the air conditioning and heat pump work, door handles, seals and leaks, panel fit, paint, screens and electronics, faults stored in the control unit memory, and the battery condition. You get a report with a list of faults to report; Tesla decides whether a warranty repair is accepted. You can check when your car's warranty ends in the Tesla app.

Pre-purchase diagnostics are for buyers of a used Tesla: besides the technical condition and the battery, we check the car's history - whether it has been repainted, which parts have been replaced and whether there are signs of accident repairs - so that you know what you are buying before you sign the contract.
